Interview with Jack, Aiden and Victoria

I've decided to do a short interview with my characters from the second series of A New Breed (The Birth) just to give an idea what to expect in this one. As I've mentioned or hope that I've mentioned, I really enjoyed writing this novella and I'm planning the third one.  Anyway here it goes.

Iris: Thanks guys for coming today.

Jack: Thanks for having us.
(Aiden and Victoria smile and nod)

Iris: Now that we've got to the second series what can we expect from it Jack?

Jack: Well to be honest (He smiles) This has been a really good time for Aiden and I. There have been a few hiccups but we seem to be getting there.

Iris: What do you mean?

Jack: Well...Aiden's gift for starters.  I was a bit surprised to find out that he was a witch but I'm really beginning to love his gift. He's using it a lot and I've also revealed a lot to him.

Iris: How has this been for you Victoria?

Victoria: It's been a shock really. I'm pregnant with Jack's child. It was all a bit overwhelming. But I'm happy to be a Mother. I'm experiencing a lot of things I never expected. Dreaming a lot. My child is a special child but I'm not so sure how special yet.

Iris: How about  your relationship with Aiden?

Victoria: With Aiden?  Well...(She glances over at him)

Iris: Yes with Aiden how is it between you.

Victoria: Hmmm...

Aiden: I'll answer that if that's alright.

Victoria nods

Aiden: We're working through it. But we are still together. (He takes her hand) I promised I would stand by her and I will. This is a crucial time for us with the baby on the way.

Iris: Is there anything we can expect that will shock us in this series?

Jack: Yes, I think there is a lot this time around that will shock you. We've discovered a whole lot more about ourselves. And there is David to fight.

Iris: What can we expect from him?

Aiden: A lot. Expect him to destroy no matter what the cost or price. He has made  few bad friends that want the child as much as he does.

Iris: I won't ask too much just in case you spill the beans.

Aiden: Good idea, I think you'll find this series better than the first. We hope.

Iris: With out taking too much of your time. What three words would you use to summarise this series.

Aiden nods at Jack

Jack: Powerful, surprising and magical.

Iris: Wow, thanks guys for sparing these few minutes with me.

Jack: Thanks for having us.

So there you have it. Look out for Jack Aiden and Victoria in the new series A New Breed (The Birth)

Thanks for stopping by.

What's happening Now?

Besides being excited about Christmas, I'm writing the second Melisa and Roy series. It's called Deadly Sins. Melisa and Roy are about to get married. They have a pleasant surprise and want to speed up the wedding. But now that Melisa has become sensitive and can see the dead, more and more things are beginning to happen to her. She keeps dreaming about murders and tries to help the police solve the crimes.

How is it going to end? I have no clue myself. I 'll just go with the flow. I've toyed with so many endings that I'm not sure which one will be the best. I'm really enjoying this book. I love to write paranormal with a mix of erotica. It's a freeing and exciting experience that I wouldn't trade it.

Besides writing, I'll be getting the Christmas tree out of the shed as well as the decorations. I always put them up on the first of December. On Friday I broke the rules and played my first Christmas song. It was after all four weeks to Christmas. I'm worse than my daughter when it comes to Christmas. I guess I love the buzz of it all. The presents, the decorations, the friends and family and not to forget my daughters nativity play. Exciting!

I hope everyone has a great week and the great first of December.

Until next time!

Less Daylight

I'm almost done with my next novella  A New Breed (The Birth). It's taken me longer than necessary and I'm going to blame it on the change in weather and the amount of daylight we now have, LOL.

Since we've changed our clocks back an hour all I want to do is stay in bed, curl up in front of the t.v with blankets and comfort food. It happens to me every year, the minute we have the dark and dreary days, I just want to hibernate. Last year I snapped out of it by going to the gym for spinning classes three times a week. I had too! Without it I would've stayed on the couch stuffing my face with fish pie and downing more glasses of wine than necessary.

I'm pleased to say that this year I'm alot more positive. And I think it's because I'm writing. Writing about sex has it's benefits. Although I'd say I haven't been writing as much as I did in the summer,  I've been writing enough to keep the winter blues away. SAD, that's what it's called. SAD!

Anyway, after my novella is up on Amazon I've two short stories I'd like to release soon. I've also been toying with the idea of writing something different. A different genre under a different pen name. So there is a lot going on in my head with regards to my writing, which I'm grateful for. It keeps the winter blues away :-).

Keep smiling everyone, I know I am :-).

What's coming next

I'm in the middle of A New Breed(The Birth). This is a follow on story from A New Breed (The Beginning).

Here is a taster of what is to come:

A New Breed (The Birth)

Dear Aiden
If you are reading this letter then it's probably because I'm no longer with you. I'm not dead but I'm not where I should be. It also means that everything has gone according to plan. From now on I want you to take what I say to heart. I want you to protect protect Victoria and Isis and I want you to teach Isis your magic. Combined with her abilities you will be a powrful team. I want you to fully understand who Isis is.
I will begin with her name; Isis which means 'Woman of the Throne'. The one and only woman who could open and close the door...

Jack heard the shuffle, it brought a smile to his face. He took the pen and paper with the box and placed it behind him in the stack of hay. He would finish it later. A part of him didn't want to finish writing the letter to his true love because he knew what it would mean, but what else could he do? It was the only way he'd be able to stop David. Or so he hoped at least for the  moment.

Aiden stood at the opening of the barn in a pair of tight jeans and an equally tight t-shirt. The July temperature already sweltered Jack but the sight of his love standing before him only hardened his cock.

I will stop it here for now and hope that it will intrigue you enough to find out more when I release the book  mid November or earlier if possible.

In the meantime please feel free to find out what I'm doing on my blog tour.
